I was absolutely over the moon to receive an ARC of this book as I’ve already read the other 4 books in this series and I thought that every book was fantastic! and it’s now one of my favourite series.

I couldn’t wait to dive back in to Madison, Nate , Owen & Brody’s adventures.

This story starts with a heart wrenching prologue that punches you in gut and makes your heartbreak, it’s definitely an ominous sign of what’s to come.

Another despicable series of crimes plague Lost Creek and it’s up to Madison & her new partner to catch the killer before he kills another innocent victim.

I didn’t have to wait long for what I wanted to happen between Madison & Nate to happen but then another twist happens and it seems like all hope is lost between them or is it?.

We really get to see and learn more about Madisons dad in this book who we first got introduced to in the previous book in the series, we learn what motivates him and what made him leave Madison and his other family behind which I enjoyed.

This was another heart pounding/edge of your seat thriller that took some twists and turns that i didn’t see coming and I thought I’d worked out who the killer was but I was wrong again! That’s why I love this fantastic series so much.
